Scoop on CW’s new Gossip Girl
The teen book series Gossip Girl by Cecily Von Ziegesar has been picked up as a series to air on the CW this fall. The series is being marked as a Sex in the City for teens and beyond and follows a group of Manhattan teens, all of whom are pretty well off. So shopping sprees (only the good stuff!), trips to the Hamptons, all the exclusive private schools and of course the hottest clubs for partying in NYC.
There will also be plenty of relationships, both on the best friend basis and with guys, so expect fighting, hookups, cheating and all the typical things you see from spoiled teenage girls.
The show will begin airing in the fall on Wednesdays at 9 on the CW.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these books and can’t wait to see the show on TV. Is there a date the show will first be on? I really tell people they should read these awesome books, so good!!

i LOVE the books… the show isn’t that good tho.. i probz wouldn’t be saying that if hadn’t read the books yet though….
